Salt & Meadow is a dining experience that unites and balances the bounty of the Chesapeake Bay estuary with the farms of Virginia’s Northern Neck. The waterways here enjoy an abundance of seafood, and a vast array of herbs, vegetables and fruit thrive year-round in the region’s rich soil.

Fish Hawk Oyster Bar

Fish Hawk Oyster Bar is located along our beach and boardwalk just steps from the water. This carefree venue features seafood classics, burgers, a raw bar, local craft beers, wine and creative cocktails. Enjoy a casual, upbeat setting as you dine waterfront indoors or outdoors overlooking Carter’s Creek. Next to the old-fashioned ice cream counter, a vintage boat is filled with fun, nostalgic sweet and savory snacks to carry to the beach, to your guest room or enjoy after a day of activity on the water. 

Culinary Experiences

Try one of our culinary experiences for hands-on learning, including pasta making, oyster shucking and wine classes. These classes are available for private experiences for couples, families and small groups.
