Excellent restaurant in former dentist's office (see the toothbrush columns!). Never a bad meal here. Wonderful experience, wine and dining atmosphere.

This is my go-go place because the food is consistently good and the atmosphere is a bit more casual than The Office. And they welcome my dog with open arms. Outside of course. Ask for the secret dog menu. Sit at the bar to eat to meet some locals and chat with the bartender. The owner Brian is usually there and a pleasure.
Their ad: We source most of our produce and also raise our own grass-fed Cattle, Pigs, Chickens, and Ducks at our family owned, "Black Sheep Farm" in Lively, VA. Our passion for food has earned us the title "Best Restaurant of Virginia" from Chesapeake Bay Magazine "Best of the Bay" awards in 2020. Taco Tuesday, Burger Wednesday, $1 oysters on Thursday.

Dockside dining (indoor and outside), a full bar, cozy lounge and a family friendly atmosphere! Portside Grill is the only waterfront restaurant in Urbanna. Come by boat, kayak, car or walk from the town of Urbanna.
Boaters are welcome to tie up at the marina or along the bulkhead next to the restaurant while they enjoy dining and drinks inside their dining room or outside on the patio. Their patio is dog-friendly.
